昨天接了小茜回家,其人手里紧紧攥了一张小黄纸,在车上还不忘细细研读口中还念念有词。妈妈好奇心上来,凑过去一看,整整齐齐写了两排名字。仔细多看两眼才看出点蹊跷来,左边的几个,名字后面都有一个涂满的圈圈。
"These are stickers, meaning they did good today!"小茜赶紧给妈妈解释。"When they get three stickers, they will be invited to my party!"
"那这些呢?"好奇妈妈指着右边的几个名字,每一个前面都有个醒目的"X"。
小茜一脸严肃,挨个评点下来,
Jacob said I am a baby today.
Corey called me a banana peel.
When I played Hula Hoop, Elgin tried to grab it.
Michael hits me!
最后再来个总结陈词 These boys did not do good, so they got a X. They cannot come to my party!
妈妈听在耳里,手心儿里不免捏了一把冷汗,仿佛看见一张巨大黄纸飘扬,上面赫然写着MOMMY和一大串XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
小家伙秋后算帐的伎俩,不得不防啊。
